I keep finding silverware at bus stops. XD; Spoons and forks, mostly. And usually I pick it up, (and wrap it in a tissue or something..) because hey, you can never have too much silverware, you know? But I wonder.. are people really throwing it away, or are they just leaving it there because they had it in their coffee or something and had no place to put it, so they're planning to pick it up when they get home from wherever they're going? Should I leave it there instead of "stealing" it? XD;; Have YOU ever left silverware at a bus stop?

Do you live in a city with a large homeless population? A lot of time homeless people keep eating utensils on their persons as some soup kitchens or outdoor events that serve food do not always provide utensils to eat with, and it is just handy stuff to have in case you come across wasted food set out due to expiration regulations and whatnot that stores need to abide by. It could be people just losing their forks/spoons/whatevers.

People used to put empty pint glasses on top of the bus shelter at the stop I used to take, but I was sure that was just students. This could well be homeless people.

I live on the outskirts of a smaller city, I don't think there are many homeless people in this area. Anyway you'd think they'd hold on to their utensils, wouldn't you? They can't ALL just be losing them accidentally at bus stops.
