What do you do to deal with it?

If I'm alone I will bang on my bed as hard as possible. When I was younger I once was smashing my head on my pillow enough that my nose started bleeding....

If I'm around people I tense up and try as hard as possible to hold it down, but once I'm alone I sort of just throw my arms about or stomp as hard as possible.

if i'm alone then i curse and kick and beat things. the anger usually turns to sadness. if the anger is not too bad then i normally call or talk to my mother. she can be quite calming at times.

of course mangos heal all things. *most nodful*

Unless it is righteous anger, I quell it by realising it's pointlessness in regard to solving what has made me angry.

Exercise, Self Reflection, Rinse and Repeat.

In that order.

during the summer, I usually go out for a ride. I live really close to a steep long climb, so when I really get mad, I will ride up and down that as hard as I can.
Over the winter when it is to cold out to ride, I usually let it build, sometimes have a boxing match with my bedroom door (the door always wins) :?
I never do any of that in public, I usually hold it in till I get to my bedroom

I rarely feel anger. I experience it maybe a few times a year? But that's an issue for me because since I'm not accustomed to it, I don't know what to do about it. I start shaking and I can't stop. I have to take myself out of the situation and I usually put my earphones on and listen to music. I always have my iPod with me in case I'm somewhere where I feel too overstimulated. Music is really calming for me. But big negative emotions in my body are really uncomfortable. It makes me feel like my skin is crawling.

If I'm home, laying on my bed and listening to music helps. There's only one person I can talk to when I get that way. Everyone else sets me off.

Well, the few times it's happend I lashed out at the cause of my anger, ie: I beat the living daylights out whichever sibling took it too far.
Fortunately for all of us, it takes a lot to push me to the point where I resort to violence so it doesn't happen often.

Usually when I feel it bubbling up inside I take a deep breath, remove myself from the situation, have a long, angry talk with myself and then throw it in the fire as fuel for my ongoing depression.
