Mine happens to be silverfish. I don't wish to see them in my apartment, but I have seen some pretty cool pictures of them. Silver is also one of my favourite colours and it's not very often that you see an insect or animal that's silver, that doesn't live in the sea.

Do you mean a parasite or a pest?
I love them too. I always play with them whenever I see them. I also enjoy th scorpions I find in my house sometimes.
Now house centipedes and spiders....Let's forget those....... 8O

Preborn babies. I hope I don't offend pro lifers saying this (I'm pro life myself) but biologically, babies before they are born definitely act like parasites. And I love babies, so they're my favourite parasite.

Silverfish aren't parasites...according to wikipedia. :P

My favorite parasite would be Glyptapanteles because they make caterpillars suffer, and I hate caterpillars. Also, mindcontrolling larvae for the win.

The Ophiocordyceps unilateralis fungus. If manipulates the behaviour the ants it infects.

Quote:
"The death grip occurred in very precise locations," the authors write. All of the C. leonardi ants studied in Thailand’s Khao Chong Wildlife Sanctuary had chomped down on the underside of a leaf, and 98 percent had landed on a vein. Most had: a) found their way to the north side of the plant, b) chomped on a leaf about 25 centimeters above the ground, c) selected a leaf in an environment with 94 to 95 percent humidity and d) ended up in a location with temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius. The researchers called this specificity "remarkable."
