I love people. The reason that I love people, is because no tow people are alike. I also love multiculturalism. There are also the type of people that I love, the most. People who aren't meant to be exactly like everybody else. I'm the type, who's not meant to be like everybody else. I belong to the category of people who are very different from the majority, usually living in a time warp, of sorts. I also get a lot of respect from everybody, in the real world. I love human diversity, and I feel that it should be celebrated. 8)

Me too. I believe people are more similar to one another than we think. That's because we focus too much on our differences. Our differences are small, our commonalities are great. Society these days is being fed too much mumbo jumbo about our differences. We live in a culture of divisions and sub divisions. The rich, the middle class, the poor. The owner, the worker. The above average, the average, the below average. On a personal level no two people are the same, but as a race we are one. Our differences as individuals should be celebrated. :)

I'd like to add my appreciation to this thread.

All too often my appreciation of people is intellectual (and only intellectual) so that when I do have a moment of emotional appreciation of someone, it is really quite special.

Nice thread.

I think this appreciation thread probably (for me) trumps all the others. :D

Cockneyrebel,

I do enjoy how unique humans are and all the wonderful things you can appreciate from various cultures....
But I must say, of the human diversity, it is your uniqueness that I appreciate. You hold fast in what you believe in, you continually seek the positive in life and you share this outlook with others. I really appreciate this about you.

I hope my comment didn't embarrass you or seem creepy.

You've summed up what I think and feel perfectly. I've never been able to put it into words before.
