I agree. It is an odd coincidence that they are British. Don't let it bother you too much. Everyone disagrees with someone about something.

I'm American, of Norwegian descent. I bring down the percentage as well I think. Although there are a lot of British people on this site.

A factor might be that it is a largely Anglophone board.

A factor might be that the sun never sets [used to set] on the British Empire.

Note that a very large proportion of the British and their offshoots are at least in part of French descent, and much of that Norman; not to mention the volume of Scandinavian blood in the British Isles.

Me, I am [approxmately] 3/4 German, the remainder AngloSaxon, Celtic, French, Netherlandic, in proportions too complex to specify.

I assure you, if I disagree with you [which as far as I know has not happened yet] all of my components will disagree equally, without any bias < race, creed, or national origin.
