Gene Roddenberry seemed to be quite passionate about tolerance, which seemed to be one of the central themes in the Star Trek series and movies and...........before the phrase 'politically correct' had even been coined.

I'm really grateful for his creation which lives on after him.

I wonder why he was so passionate about tolerance?

He did work as a Police officer at one time, perhaps that was part of the reason.

He was a great man, and there should be more people in the world, like him.
