Probably somewhere in Costa Rica. There was a time I would have said Manhattan but I think I've moved on, and so has Manhattan.

Since I was small I wanted to live on a smallholding/farm on a hill, still do. Surrey/Hampshire way would be nice :)

I quite fancy that, Autumnsteps. I've always wanted to be self sufficient. I'd probably choose Canada, somewhere in the wild bits. Or the Russian steppes. Or Tibet. Or outer space. Somewhere where there's no one making my life unpleasant!

I'm already living exactly where I want to live, which happens to be outside my native country. :D

Finland or Norway - because of colder weather and less light.
Generally all the Skandinavia would be ok.

I'm happy where I'm living, now so I'm going to stay there. :)

When I was in Iceland, my problem was too much light.

It's probably the lighter halfyear. They have periods of total darkness and total daylight.

Yes, end of May or beginning of June. It still got a little dim around 3.30 to 4.00 am.

Light vs. dark is a trade.. you never really come out ahead :)
