Is it a humid or dry heat?

I hate when it gets to be that hot I end up sweating myself awake

I hate being hot. My bedroom has been uncomfortably hot. It faces the sun, so the rest of the house is cool. Fortunately it's been cool enough at night that I can get relief with the open window.

I know how you feel down here in the South it gets very humid at least the trees are growing again.

What I hate more than the heat is the allergy problems.

Is your area in the middle of a heat wave or something? Or has your air conditioning just gone out?

Be very thankful you don't live here in Houston.

Ugh, humid heat is disgusting. But I wish it were hot where I live. It's practically still winter weather here in Idaho.

I wouldn't mind the heat so much if I just wasn't so effected by it.

Plus I love your new Avatar IdahoRose.

I must say I believe they made a perfect choice for Actress playing Alice.

Beautiful but still refined.

I love the heat. It is hot here too. I do complain if I get too sweaty, but I hate being cold more.

One thing that I tried to do, though with limited success, was to attempt to dehumidify the air so as to aid in the body's evaporative cooling system. My set up was basically this, a tall metal pot filled with ice inside a pan with a larger diameter than the pot holding the ice. Whenever there was enough water accumulated in the pan, I would dump the distillate water outside.
