What are some books you like, or just some books you've read? I don't have a personal list of any kind, but off the top of my head, Dune, Watchmen, The Man in the High Castle, The Big Book of Pulps, and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.

Extremely detailed fantasy books like The Inheritance Cycle or the Lord of the Rings.

I can handle it, it's just not for me.

Me? I prefer to have sex with my copy of Blade Runner: The Final Cut.

It's hell trying to get it through that little hole in the DVD, though.

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
Night by Elie Wiesel
The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rainbow High and Rainbow Road by Alex Sanchez
The Meaning of Matthew by Judy Shepard
Warriors Don't Cry by Melba Pattillo Beals

With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa by Lance Corporal Eugene B. Sledge
Flags of our Fathers and Flyboys: A True Story of Courage by James Bradley

As you can see I don't read much besides war story's. I'm currently reading Unbroken by Laura Hildenbrand.

I'm reading a book called 'Kill your Friends' at the minute. Reminds me very much of American Psycho.

While I have no use for fiction, I love any book having to do with Nikola Tesla. He's my all time hero and the person I most want to be like. Except for the whole "dying penniless" part. But other than that, I live my life to be like him. As an aside, can I mention that it's hilarious I just realized his initials were "NT" when he was about a far as one can be from an NT? I lol'd.

I don't read that often, but one book I really enjoyed was The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho.

Very wise book that one, I'd recommend it to those who are seeking their calling in life.

I love books, and I'm more of a kiddy-book person (Kids books have much more imagination then most books for adults. I love the worlds of imagination!)

The Divide, Back to the Divide, The Jinx on the Divide by Elizabeth Kay,
the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riodan,
The Harry Potter books..
Those are a few.

Now for Manga:
Flame of Recca,
Ranma 1/2
I also read a little bit of the Dragonball series, but not much.

I'm a fervent fan of Alan Garner. Though I try not to go on about his books too much, like I try not to reference Kirsty every five minutes.

I'll nominate Spacebase 2000, by Stewart Cowley. Pretty pictures! :)
