'In Richardson, a Texas State Trooper was running radar. He had a perfect spot to watch for speeders, but wasn't getting any. Then he discovered the problem. A 12 year old boy was standing up the road with a hand painted sign which read "RADAR TRAP AHEAD!" The officer later found a young accomplice down the road with a sign reading, "TIPS" and a bucket full of money.'

Where I live, it's customary for drivers to flash their high beams to notify oncoming drivers...but apparently that's illegal. Don't know if they book you or not but it's pretty ridiculous considering how conspicuous the cameras are anyway.

Where I live, they only still have the big cameras that stand out like a sore thumb to lull people into a false sense of security so they dont look for the smaller better disguised ones.
