i don't have an account but i check conan o brien's and jim carrey's at least twice a week.
jim carrey definitely posts his own stuff but conan may or may not have help.

I don't use twitter myself but I follow a few people via RSS mostly for information.

BlogtorWho - Doctor Who stuff
30ninjas - occasional updates on Ralph Fiennes' Coriolanus
qikipedia - fun trivia and news about QI
darren_bousman - Mothers Day movie news and I keep hoping for some REPO news!
denofgeek - all the geeky stuff I need to know and more
joshgroban - awaiting his next cd release, also he's quite entertaining
zen_habits - minimalist, motivational stuff
musicalscience - Symphony of Science
bobsgamenews - pretending that this game will actually be released sometime
1000Awesome - awesome things

yay! he actually responds to a lot of questions that people tweet to him and he's on his twitter account a lot. seems like an interesting and nice man.

intriguingly his last few tweets were a bunch of numbers. i assume it correlates to the alphabet.

He seems intriguing on Twitter; some of his tweets seem to be outright philosophical.

I'm not following anyone. I signed up and have never made a post cause it just seems to be a waste of time. I have 7 or 8 people following me though.
