Okay, I'd hate to look desperate, but I'd really like some feedback on this video. I stayed up until after midnight (on a school night, no less) working on this video and getting it uploaded onto the internet. I seem to remember a bunch of responses to other people's video shoutouts to WP, so why not mine?

hey, i liked it :). also i think i've been saying rene descartes wrong all my life if that's correct pronounciation. i was going to respond to this thread earlier but i got distracted. i understand how you feel because it took me an hour just to get the light, positioning of the camera, etc.... right for my shoutout. it looks good, though for making it so late at night.

You look like a combination of two of my old friends. And I laughed when you said aspies were susceptible to peer pressure, I love deadpan sarcasm. :)

What is the face on your pajama pants?

Thanks for the feedback, Tinky! The video was recorded on my digital camera, and I really didn't put much forethought into the video--I just hit the record button and started talking. I did rehearse a little what I was going to say, though.

I like your shoutout video as well. Clearly you shot yours in the middle of the day and you are more energetic in your video than I am in mine. :)

Thanks Samwise! I figured I might as well inject some humor into my video to make it more interesting.

The face on my pajama pants is that of Ralph from the movie A Christmas Story. Those pajama pants are very comfortable, by the way.

Hey Descartes :)

I just watched your video...have you got any more? I thoroughly enjoyed it. You seem like someone who would be a valuable friend to have...don't ever change 8)

i stole my brother's video camera and eventually learned how to use it.
at least you weren't playing around with a pen half of your video! seriously, i kept having to do retakes because i kept picking up random objects and playing with them.

That's the only video I have of myself online. I could make some more, but I wouldn't really know what to do in them. Do you have any ideas?

Thank you for your compliment. I really don't have many close friends. If only you lived in Texas and were around my age I'm sure we'd be good friends!

I had no idea who Quentin Crisp was before you mentioned him, so I looked him up on Wikipedia. While I appreciate your compliment, I feel I must ask--how do I remind you of Quentin Crisp?

Thank you CockneyRebel! I don't get that often--but when I do, I highly appreciate it. I tend to be very self-conscious about the way I look. :)

You should try placing those objects far away from you whenever you're making a video--that way you won't be tempted to fiddle with them.

i should have been more precise- you remind me of actor john hurt playing quentin crisp [in "the naked civil servant"] but you also remind me of crisp himself. something about your features reminded me of both people in their youth. something about your enunciation. something about a certain ironic detachment in your public persona. something about your voice. many things.

no offense, but do you tend to say "kwispy kwittahs"? ["crispy critters" as gilda radner doing bahbwa wawa (barbara walters) would say it]

i trip all over my tongue trying to say "february."
