And like all of them are Polish Americans
And as for my own name:
There are 1 or fewer people in the U.S. named ***
# There are 23,183 people in the U.S. with the first name Magdalena.
# Statistically the 1219th most popular first name.
* There are 306 people in the U.S. with the last name ***.
* Statistically the 68782nd most popular last name.
I saw this site once. Yesterday I was checking how many people in my own country have my last name - it turns out that there are not much more than 800 of them but I think the number of the people with my last name in Poland is bigger - I must check it on another site too. My last name is not popular but I wouldn't call it uncommon either - just so-so, a normal last name which doesn't sound anything out of the ordinary but it just isn't common - it occupies the "rare" end of the "common" spectrum. I never knew any person with my last name, I think I saw a small mention on someone having it on TV maybe two times in my life. I don't know my father's side of the family so I don't know in person anyone with my surname.
I also checked out of curiosity Michael Jackson which is, after all, a very popular first and last name and the result is as follows:
There are 10,079 people in the U.S. named Michael Jackson.
