Me/friend (I've KNOWN FOREVER!) Were catching up after not seeing each other for 3 years. :-) We were chatting about College (She has that Psychology teacher as HER teacher now.) :-( and I mention you seem like you've put on some weight how much do you weight (about 140lb.) I then mention to her I tell her like it as I am truthful and she laughed and seemed like she understood. (Hey I come out and tell it like it is!!) I don't hide anything. (It wasn't the FIRST thing I said we chatted about College and I came out and mention weight later in the night) What are your thoughts on doing this. (As stated she's someone I've known FOREVER and she didn't seem like she minded plus she let me play with her pony tail YA STIMMING!)

It sounds like you've known her for a while... Maybe that's why she wasn't irritated. When I was younger I asked old people about their weight because I didn't realize it made some people mad
Weight doesn't really come up in conversations, and I guess I've lost interest in other people's weight since then. If I hadn't seen someone in a year and then noticed it looked like they had gained two hundred pounds or began to grow a parasitic twin or something I'd probably interrogate them about their health  Which would probably be more of an issue than the weight in that situation. I wonder if asking about someone's health is more personal...

I think that a person's weight is a personal thing. It's their body...let them do what they want, with it.
