...in informal situations?

I remember I used to tuck in my pants to my shirt before grade 6 since my parents tucked in their pants (I think its a generation issue) and so my mom used to dress me when I was little and I got the habit of tucking in my pants. In grade 6 my classmates told me not to tuck in my pants and said it was "uncool" and so I stopped tucking in my pants ever since. I think I still tucked in my pants for a little while after my classmates told me not to but then I eventually realized that virtually no one my age tucked in their pants and so I stopped.

However, it was interesting because last term in university, I knew this guy who always tucked in his pants but then no one seem to care anymore in university. I wonder how he was treated in high school?

I tuck my shirt in, when I'm wearing a nice, loose blouse.

I used to do that all the time when I was a kid, but I stopped because my (real) sister told me it was uncool.

I didn't. Then my dad told me to, so I started always doing it. Then someone at school told me not to, so I stopped.

We should start a "fashion revolution" where everyone starts tucking in their pants again. As soon as the "old generation" dies off, barely anyone will tuck in their pants anymore. I feel like preserving the "tuck shirt into your pants" culture

Sometimes I do it, when I wear all in black style. I tuck my shirt into skirt and wear black belt with silver square buckle.

I never tucked in my pants .. until I reached the age of 18. After I always did, though some button downs that I wear.. I keep un-tucked like Abercrombie n Fitch , others I do. It just depends on how long it is and how it looks.

If its to look neat for work I'd tuck my shirt in. I never do it otherwise because it makes my torso look shorter and fatter.

i always tuck in my net undershirt, which is the only shirt i will wear outside of a funeral or a wedding. but otherwise, the last time i looked good enough to tuck in a dress shirt was when i was young and fit and in the army and they made me do it.

When I had to like for school uniforms, job interviews, weddings, funerals ect. It's usually hot & humid here & it's more comfortable not having shirts tucked in. Plut my shirts usually come untucked when I'm stretching or something

Um, a nearly always-tuck-in-er here. I don't know.... just 'suits' me best. Well, I like to wear neat, kinda formal, clothes in general going amongst folks really.
