who here can't stand the flavor of olives?
i think they taste like hell on earth! 56%  56%  [ 19 ]
i think they taste like heaven on earth! 26%  26%  [ 9 ]
i can live with or without 'em. 12%  12%  [ 4 ]
i really like [insert flavor here] ice cream! 6%  6%  [ 2 ]

i find them to be bitterly metallic and sour and unpleasantly salty. anybody else on WP share my aversion to the flavor of olives? i won't eat anything that has olives in it, or even the flavoring of olives. picking them one-by-one out of food cooked with olives in the mix does no good, as the unpleasant olive flavor holds fast to said food- one might as well try to ummix milk and tea.
i'd much rather have some nice tart raspberry sherbet or some heavenly peanut butter and chocolate ice cream!

green olives are less yuck then black olives, but I prefer pistache flavoured ice cream

I do like olives...very much...but I don't crave to eat them or need to have them.

If they're in something... great, but if not...meh...

I used to hate them, just as I used to hate marmite and coffee, but now I find them not so bad in moderation.
I prefer green ones to black ones.
Green olives stuffed with anchovies are the best. :)

I had some deep fried sea bass along with 'rocket salmon' and it was delicious

Can't stand the olive. Olive oil is fine, but the vile little round black and green fruits (?) are disgusting.

Olives are my favorite.

I prefer green ones...dunno if I could ever eat them raw, though.
