My brother (who was 14 at the time) in 1996 was attacked by this gang of thugs. The ring leader of the gang still lives in our town and he pointed him out to me the other day.

I want to track the thug down and get my own back on him for what he did to my brother.

Do you think I should get revenge or not?

This was a long time ago. There are some horrible people about. Maybe it would be best if you left it because it might bring you more trouble in the long run.

No, as it might cause you more trouble in the long run in terms of retaliation. Just watch him and if you see him do anything illegal, call the police and turn him in.
