They even talk about how it isn't really a disability and stuff. I wouldn't say i have a very severe case of AS at all, but it definitely effects most areas of my life to a significant degree.. And, yes, it is "disabling." I don't use it as an excuse to sit around doing nothing with my life, but it gives me a lot of limitations that can't just be "overcome" because i decide i want to "overcome" them. I think this is probably normal for your average person with AS. So hearing a few lucky people, who claim to have AS despite their awesome ability to adapt to everything in the world, decide that they can do something so everyone else should be able to is sickening.
Lot of aspies don't see it as a disability, there are topics and posts floating around here about it too. Or maybe they are in the minority.
