Seriously speaking, we have a chihuahua who we believe is Autistic. Too much to explain, but it's evidence to me, that humans aren't the only Aspie or Autistic beings.

I have a papillon(a freakishly large one at that. He's the size of a long-legged Jack Russel) who is similar. It's as if he has Asperger's. He was in a pet store from when he was 2 months to when he was 7 months. No one wanted him because he didn't look like a pure papillon. But we adopted him.

Anyways. I am not human of course. If you knew what my name means, you'd know what I am. The avatar hints at it.

Most of my pets are severely autistic... Snakes are extremely non-social. I mean, they like me alright and tolerate me holding them and are generally tame, but they really only think about themselves. No empathy whatsoever, and they don't have social skills or any real desire to socialize.

I think my tegu probably has HFA or Asperger's, because he seems to have a little bit more social ability and he also seems to be more functional in his cognitive abilities. Probably also has comorbid ADHD, because he's always moving things around in his enclosure and when he's out he's always trying to climb or jump up on things.
