Stupid things I've heard people say in arguments

(Well, apparently you do too, otherwise we wouldn't still be arguing.)

"If you don't like porn, don't watch it."
(So explain to me how I'm supposed to arrive at the conclusion that I don't like porn without watching some in the first place? I suppose I'm not allowed to not like anything, by this logic.)

"It's my opinion, so you don't have a right to criticize it."
(If you have the right to have an opinion, then why don't I have the right to have an opinion that your opinion is bull$hit?)

"I think it's cute how you <thing that pi$$es me off>."
(Why do people always say this when they're angry at someone? I suppose anger and endearment go together, eh?)

Like, if I said "I hate red houses", someone would say "Well, it hates you too!"

Why do people say this? It's so stupid.

I'd hate to be wrong.

One that's said over the internet a lot:

"You're just jealous of me because I'm not a fat virgin like you."

As if that has any relevance to the topic at hand.

"Oh yeah? Well, if we evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?!" (sooo many things wrong with that.. and if that's you're argument, it pretty much voids your point of view because it proves that you don't know how evolution works in the first place... so you don't need to be having an "opinion" on it...)

"(In regard to owning large constricting snakes)Why would you want to have an animal that could hurt you if it wanted to?!"(um.. do you also have a problem with people owning large dogs? Because those can just as easily kill, and are also more likely to...)

Most arguments are stupid; not least those that I have been involved with

This reminds me of a person saying it on another forum.

"People are just jealous of me because I am pretty, very smart and an artist." And she was talking about people who bully her but I doubt that's what they bully her for. She was just arrogant and thought too highly of herself and was deluded and judged people and did false accusations so I can see why she be picked on. Plus she never took responsibility for her actions or even bothered to listen to people.

I never understood ad hominems so I am not sure if that was one. I have looked it up and read about it but it goes over my head.
Even I have been accused of doing one a couple times and it's not really something I argue about because I just don't understand.

On another forum, someone who I had a conflict with in email, she told me on the forum I put a virus on her computer during our argument when I tried to expose who she really is. Not some innocent sweet person she was making herself out to be. It was so stupid and very delusional trying to make me look bad. Either she really did get a virus on her computer and thought it was me or she was just making it up. Even my own friends thought it was stupid.

This person really sucked at arguing so she totally try and get her last word by saying things that were totally irrelevant to the topic and wouldn't shut up until you shut up. Plus she used these lame insults on the forum "asswipe" "thumbsucker" and I like yawned. And yes she genuinely does try and get her last word.

Oh yeah and here is a classic one one I have gotten:

I would be talking about AS and how you can overcome your symptoms if you work hard and I overcame my inflexibility by learning how to be flexible so I can be more independent and hold down a job and I was lucky to have a boss who was patient with me. Same as how I learn to not talk about my obsessions so often. But I would get this from other aspies:

"You are expecting a blind person to see or a deaf person to hear or a person in a wheelchair to walk."

"I bet you expect a person with a learning disability to just get over it."

"I bet you expect a person with Alzheimer's to improve their memories."

Seriously AS is a list of symptoms that can be worked on while the other conditions are different and not the same. I swear these people just want an excuse for their behavior and not work at it.
