JaMichael, JaModesty & Fifi Trixiebell are the silliest children's names I've heard.

Naming ones children is very subjective.

I know my taste in children's names is not shared with everyone. In fact i have had many people make fun of my children's names ater they were told the reference. "Why would you do that to your kids?" ect. I usually respond. "Well you didn't get the reference until it was spelled out to you."

Personally i find bland boring names and top 100 names really boring. Like come on people have you no imagination.

The problem with parents expressing their creativity when naming their kids is that it's the kids who have to live with the consequences. To willfully ensure your child is singled out for unwanted attention when he or she starts school, seems to me to be tantamount to child abuse.

It was once the domain of dimwitted celebrities all trying to outdo each other in proving just how dimwitted and unfeeling towards their children they could be. Now everyone seems to be at it.

Anidelarev.

In Mexico, people are often named after the saint on their birthday, which they look up on calendars. Calendars also state national holidays, like the Aniversario de la Revolution (Independence Day) The acronym for this is Anidelarev, so there are an unfortunate few in Mexico named Anidelarev. :(

I agree with you somewhat. I really like 'old-fashioned' names like Edwin, Cecily & Persephone. Many people find that strange however and I'm not sure any potential children of mine would appreciate it... :P

^^
Me too, somewhat.

I like really simple names such as Andrew, Katherine, and Simon.

Whenever I become a parent, I am also very sure
any children I have would use their middle names
instead of their first names, that's if they're given
names like any of what you mentioned or what I mentioned.
