I watched this video, which was really funny. I love the series.

They put the door up for auction.
So I went to the ebay auction (Not to buy it, but I was just curious to see how many people were actually crazy enough to buy a broken microwave door.)

WOOOOOOOOOOAH!! That is awesome but i wouldn't wanna be standing there when that happens, i would class this as my favourite episode ive seen on that show...
I'd actually love to try that experiement xD

Looks rather stupid, they could have killed themselves with the experiment.

I know a few ways to do such an experiment in a more safe way, but I would rather not post the details on line as if something goes wrong I do not want any legal trouble.

I recall as a student putting a neon bulb (3 cm long with no wires attached) in a cup of water. If you think put it in the microwave it lights up. Adding the water helps in two ways, it reduces the voltage on the metal surfaces of the bulb and it also acts as a dummy load for the microwave oven.

Yes, they nearly did... I would of done this in a full spacesuit, sounds pretty bizarre, but it would of most likely injure me than kill me. ;)
