Hi there,
My name is Joey, and I have a proposal for you. I am working on a new project and I need other webmasters like you to work with. I saw wrongplanet.net and wanted to ask you if I can send you a proposal for link exchange regarding that site.
If you are interested, let me know as soon as you can, and if you own more websites, make sure to add the URL's to your reply!

Best regards,
Joey

What I am confused about is why he thinks I own Wrongplanet or how he even got my email address in the first place... Have any other members received the same email? I am pretty sure this is some kind of scam but I just don't get what he is trying to accomplish or why he would email believing I own the site...

I tried Googling the domain deliciouslides.com and it has lots of hits but nothing obvious in terms of a scam. My guess is that it is someone trying to boost their Google ranking by swapping lots of links with other sites... assuming he even links back to the other people's sites. As to how he got your email address and associated you with WP I don't know. I hope WP hasn't been hacked?
