Last year to the day, I've started being myself again after 4 years. These were the steps that I took:

I've stopped spiking my hair with coloured putty.
I've stopped wearing that heavy biker jacket.
I've ditched the bad attitude.
I've started listening to my favourite group, for the first time since the December of 2006.
I've started wearing nice clothes.
I've become interested in the finer things in life, again
I've found a role model who's right for me.
I've never felt so free in my life. :D

All I have to do, is lose the 75 lbs that I've gained, partly to do with rebellion. All that my dad wanted a slender firstborn daughter, who was well groomed. I was a fat, green-haired punker as an act of rebellion.

You see, I didn't really lose my swinging spirit. I've had it, all along. :)
