Sliding scale clinic, but I don't have an income?
I'm 21 and won't have insurance in 2 months, but don't have any income or job.
So I located a regional outpatient mental health clinic, since I won't be able to go to a regular (expensive) psychiatrist or psychologist.
I don't have any benefits like Social Security or anything.
What would a sliding scale mental health clinic charge for their services?

It might depend on your area. I tried going to a mental health clinic here years ago after slashing myself & I had no job & my insurance would not cover mental. They refused to accept me because I was NOT an immediate threat to myself or others even thou I was major mood-swings, crying spells every day & I embellished a little & told em I was suicidal. A couple years ago a guy in my area was actually advised by his lawyer to make bomb threats because he couldn't get mental help. Guy went to prison & I'm not sure what happened to his lawyer. If you live in Louisiana; you can forget free mental help

Wow yeah, that's bad advice from the mental health clinic and that lawyer....
I will have to see how my local mental health clinic is like.

Louisiana's been having budget problems for the last like 8 years due to corrupt politicians & then hurricanes, & then the oil-spill. All the social services have been slashed as much as possible. Things here are probably worse than most other states. I'm not sure where your at but there might be some colleges that might offer services as well & there might be some charity groups or social services that might help as well. I'm not sure if your having lots of mental issues or any other physical disabilities but you might want to look into the state Medicaid program & SSI; you'd automatically get Medicaid & you'd get some income to & it might open the door for other services. None of the docs here accept Medicaid thou due to the lack of funding & mental docs are in high demand here(around the time I quit going a couple years ago I heard mine had a 6month waiting period for new patients)
