I wondering how many Aspies or otherwise (people that visit this site would be good enough) play this game online a lot.

And a weird thing happened in that game. It allows you to make four character "Clan Tags" and I tried to make it "Aspi" but it said it was banned text, like if you try to put "poop" in.

I did some tests and the part it does like is "spi"

Any reason it might think spi is bad?

My brother played that game, but not online.

I loved the single player - wow, this game really stood out from other FPS games I've played. I haven't played the online version.

I no rite?

I mean it really was pretty unique. The level "Aftermath" was the best level in a video game I've experienced in years.

If you have ever played other online shooters, this one will blow them away. It did for anyways

This is the game i am focused on right now. I am at level 23 and my fav weapon is the Skorpion. I play on my ps3 and my psn is CA_NES
maybe try WPAS as a clan tag (wrong Planet Aspie)

I beat the game on hard, first time round.

I play it offline on the PC. I got it for Christmas and was up until dawn the next morning playing it.

CoD4 spoiled me; I've added shooting through soft cover to my FPS battle tactics, and I get agitated when that doesn't work in games with less sophisticated physics engines.

It is a great game for showing the tactical advantage provided by red dot reflex sights over more traditional iron sights.

I have the first two call of duty for gamecube but didnt like the third.

Online play? No thanks I get my butt kicked by the computer and my friend often enough . I don't need some 9 year old Korean kid dominating me!

I wish they would make historical games like a Revolutionary War game.

But they dont make Gamecube or Gameboy advance games anymore . . . . .


Guess if i want to try something "new" I can hunt down a used copy of Aquaman

I have loaded up this game exactly as instructed and it doesn't even work.

I really need it to work, I am going through a tough time and it helps take my mind off things. But, there is no game. So I am a raging as*hole right now.

I'VE JUST CHUCKED THE GAME AWAY IN THE TRASH. MY COMPUTER WOULD NEVER RUN IT. IT COMES UP AS UMCOMPATIBLE.

WHAT A WASTE OF £30. THIS IS WHY I DON'T BUY GAMES. THEY NEVER WORK.

If games never work for you, then there must be something wrong with your computer. Either that or you buy all your games used from a shop that doesn't even bother to make sure their used games are in working order.

As for the game itself, I've beaten MW2 and plan on buying the first Modern Warfare very soon.

My laptop is a modern one and the game was brand new still in its plastic wrapping. I brought it off Amazon UK.

I guess I won't be making that mistake again. I've also looked at the game reviews from other users who brought it off Amazon and there are a lot of disgruntled people.

A laptop?! Unless it were an Alienware or something equally niche, it probably has no hope of playing latest 3D games.

Serious 3D graphics power is needed to play the latest 3D games. Laptops typically don't come with them because they'd overheat and also kill the battery life. Even if you have an ATI or NVidia card, with umpteen GB of video RAM, it still could be their low end mobile model. It can render the Aero interface and that's about it.

Try running 3DMark to see how your system compares to others.

This is why most gamers use consoles. Consoles are just appliances and they are all the same so the game is guaranteed to work.

Anyway, CoD4 is just a shooter. I prefer ArmA2.

What are the specifications of the laptop? Just because its modern does not mean you have sufficient hardware to meet the requirements of the game there are plenty of laptops on the market with woefully inadequate graphics cards that wouldn't be able to run this game properly.

Do you have the latest driver of your graphics card installed?

Do you have the latest release of Directx 9.0c or if you're on a vista/win 7 system directx 10/11?

Is your operating system XP? Vista? 7? If its XP have you updated to service pack 3?

FWTW get a desktop less hassle greater fututre proof access to decent Power supply unit's that can power decent graphics cards without overheating or running a flat battery. Get the parts build a decent one yourself for about £400-500

The scale of some of the multiplayer game modes you can do on that is awesome. Theve come along way from conquer the island mods for operation flashpoint.
