Are you ready for summer to be over? I miss summer already!! It's so cool out! It's only in the 40's. :(
I'm over winter and the 2 hour delays for school from snowstorms. I want nice warm weather where I can go swimming and do other outdoor activities!

Anyone have SAD (seasonal affective disorder)?
I think I do, it's so depressing when it's dark at only 5!

I'm much more inclined to depression in the summer, when it's too hot to venture outside or (comfortably) wear clothes I like (mm, scarves!). I'm very much an autumn person. And to say that I love snow would be unfair to the snow, so winter's fine by me, too. Of course, with no central heating in my current apartment, I'm likely to be moaning and groaning about the cold on these forums before too long.

Hi Guitar Girl

I voted "Winter sucks" and I hate it... but you know, this past week has been beach weather and so I think Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb is not so long now because here in March sometimes there can be very nice weather and you have the summer to look forward to.

I always look forward to when the seasons change. Here in Texas, the weather doesn't typically cool down until later in October. However, it has been cooling down a lot lately. The temperature highs have only been in the 80s and the lows in the 40s. I'm hoping that this will mean that there will be a lot of snow this winter, because I love snow. I'm still pumped up from the snowfest of last Winter. :)

I am ready for the cold and heat sucks. Fall means I am closer to having my baby. Boy it's going fast. Either around Christmas time or after New years, my baby will be here.

I hope we get snow this year. We only got it once last year but it lasted a few hours and by the next day it was gone. But sadly my snow suit won't it me this year.

I prefer the cold weather, because I like having the use of the many pockets that come with winter jackets . When I was little, my friend and I used to wear big heavy winter jackets all throughout the year for that reason, but I don't do think I could bear that now.

It's externally hot & humid during the summer in south, Louisiana, I much prefer winter weather to 90+ temperature with high humidity. The problem here is that the the weather in the winter is very inconstant & fluctuates between being very hot & very cold. It's usually very rainy in the winter to.

I love winter, but hate snow. Snow needs to die a slow and painful death.

I live in Southern California. Winter doesn't change anything here... it got up to a 120 degrees F last Monday. I love the cold and hate it when it's hot. My family has always been full of heat freaks... I just wanna move north. Alaska or Canada maybe. I like being able to put clothes on to become comfortable not have to take them off and still be miserable. Sweating and heatstroke are bad in my eyes... I guess maybe I like the cold cuz I'm white... whatever. Snow is beautiful I think... not so much the person dying of heatstroke on the wavy-aired pavement.

Im not ready for fall or winter at all. Im starting to miss summer already. The days are getting colder and so are the nights. I miss the temp being over 90 almost every day. I really like the snow but I hate the cold weather. Cold weather combined with wind is horrible. I hate wearing big bulky winter coats that still dont keep me warm. My legs and feet are always cold in the winter. I dont like driving in the snow. I dont have a problem driving in it its all the other people on the road that worry me. The one good thing about winter is you can have a fire in the fireplace except that my parents have a gas fireplace and that just sucks compared to a wood fireplace.

i dread the la nina winter predicted for western washington state. it is likely to be much wetter than it already is, and probably snowy/gusty for good measure. wake me when it's over.

I know. Depressing isn't it?
