hey everyone

this woman who gets the same bus as me in the evening after work has been nodding at me for months, then last week she started actually making conversation with me so i thought great and chatted to her. however she now talks to me everyday and is constantly asking me how much all my possession cost e.g my rent/ my watch/ my MP3 player and when i get paid which makes me really uncomfortable as i'm paranoid she is going to rob me on my way home from work. i may have got this totally wrong (as usual) but i want her to stop this as i said it makes me so uncomfortable. Any suggestion of how i can ask her to stop asking these question without making the situation worst for myself???

all help appreciated :D

Make a little remark about how unusually interested she is in material things. Ask her why that's so. She might stop it, or not. Change the subject.

First tell her clearly that you don't ever want to talk about money, a subject both boring and depressing. Ask her instead to tell things about herself. I've found that asking questions in return, even though I usually couldn't care less, often is the best way to stop overly inquisitive people.

If she in spite of this continues to ask something money related, you should tell her that you said you didn't want to talk about money, change your seat and never speak to her again.

This is what I would do, but then I'm really not a people person...
