Does WP get dull?

I find it gets dull after a while. I came across a post today made by a user who posted frequently when I just joined and I was like "oh, good times...".

All boards "appear" to have their dull moments but you have to remember that not everyone else will be thinking the same thing at this time when you are.

Yes it does get dull sometimes. I've concluded that's not a bad thing since I can tend to get too involved to the exclusion of other more important things I need to take care of.

The "good times" you speak of were my own experience when I first got here too, but I found I couldn't tear myself away from it, to the detriment of other projects I should have been taking care of. Exploring my AS though, was also important, so the time I was spending wasn't exactly a waste.

I'm just glad now that many of the posts I'm seeing right now are "more of the same ol' same ol'," so I can spend less time here and more on the other things that have until now taken a back seat.

In short, it's all good!

Yes, I remember the good old days when we had to walk 10 miles in the snow just to get to WP.

I bet it was ten feet deep and uphill both ways too!

Yes, it does get boring around here sometimes. But the interesting times are what make spending time here worthwhile.

As a mod now it is anything but dull. I wish it was dull again sometimes... the days of old when my inbox only had good PMs instead of work or drama to sort out.

I don't find it gets dull, but I do find that sometimes the aspects of this forum that I do not like eclipse those aspects that I do like, and when that happens I leave for a while.

Sometimes I find that it can be a little dull if a lot of people are offline or if I don't see any topics I can relate to. It's no big deal really, it serves as motivation to get my butt off of the internet and get my schoolwork done. XD

Well... it would depend. If WP were located on a step (with down on the west and up on the east) halfway round the world from where you started, and there were no other bumps in the landscape, you could walk uphill to and from it just by walking west, and downhill to and from it just by walking east. The sort of thing le petit prince would do.

Yes, WP does get dull, but there are also some up sides to WP like what happened to me... even today AAAAH!

I believe that WrongPlanet is a very lovely website. I am very sorry as I believe that I do not notice happy dull atmospheres present personally. ^^ Oh dear, perhaps this may be due to the fact I am dull relative to other humans and thus this causes others to appear very magical to myself.

I like it here, but it does get old seeing the same threads come up over and over. Sometimes I go away for a bit and come back in the hopes that there's something a little different going on.

It gets dull for a while and than it livens up, after a while.
