I remember flying down from Boston to Nantucket on December 26, 2002. The first part of the flight was uneventful, the sky was scattered clouds.(There was a storm offshore that give much of New England a white Christmas; it also gave St. Louis a white Christmas) Then when we got down by Plymouth, I looked out the window and saw what was probably the most awe inspiring sight I had ever seen. The sun was setting and its light reflected off of all the ponds and lakes in Southeast Mass. The sky was so clear that you could see Providence and Fall River off in the distance. When we got over Nantucket Sound, you could see the lighthouses in action, it was really cool. There was a stiff NW(Clearing) wind as we were landing at Nantucket.

Believe it or not, I think about that flight when I get too angry or depressed.

It really was cool because I was the only passenger on the plane. Everyone else wanted to stay put for Boxing Day I guess. I'll see if they have an archive of flights from 2002, because I want to think we didn't go offshore, but maybe we did.

I'm in awe of firework displays. I love all the different colours that they come in, these days.

During the recent snowstorm in north Texas earlier this year, I remember being awed by the beauty of the snow, and how purple the sky looked. I thought that I wouldn't mind living in places up north if I could get more imagery like that.

^^ Yaye happies CockneyRebel as I do believe that firework displays are very lovely. However I believe that I worry very much during Bonfire Night and also happy nights very near to this date as I believe that Nell is very frightened of fireworks. ^^Alas, I believe this is very happy as I believe that Nell is not frightened too much in recent past years as I believe that she has learned that these loud bangs shall not harm us whilst we are within our house. Yet, she is very frightened to visit outside I believe and enjoys only doing so if she requires to use her outside toilet or if I venture outside with her during the day time.

I am very sorry for being silly.

I'm in awe walking the squares of downtown Savannah, Georgia. I'd just as soon walk them for eternity, though in terms of spirit population they're probably pretty crowded. (I guess I expect to come back as an Aspie ghost.)

Rainbows awe me, and so do winter nights when the sunset paints the sky in hues of purple, pink and orange.

Mountain clouds. I've gone hiking a several of times in the Cascades on overcast days. I'm awed when the clouds are literally forming, rising, sinking and swirling through the trees and rocks right before my eyes.

The behaviour of the young teens and adults who hang around my neighbourhood on Halloween night.

The vastness of the universe and relative insignificance of myself within it.

Looking over a sea of people and recognizing that they each have different places to go and people to meet.

Playing with my 1 year old nephew and watching his face beam.

Seeing an old dilapidated building or area, and imagining what it used to be like when it was vibrant and new.

The fact that I can't find any orange shirts at Wal - Mart really awes me. I guess that I'll be buying one of some sort or another at Army & Navy tomorrow.

I guess when the sky is full of fluffy clouds. I could stare at them forever if they didn't float away.
