I know it seems early to post this, but does anyone have any good ideas for Christmas gifts that are not that expensive. I have 4 sisters, parents, 4 brothers in laws, 11 nieces and nephews ranging from 4 to 19. Money is real tight this year so had to start buying in July. I was really lucky and found some good deals during the summer on brand new toys at yard sales. I always have more trouble finding things for the adults

I got 1 word for you: layaway!

If not for that, none of my family would get more than a card for christmas.. the sooner you start the better... don't wait for black friday

Look for cheap games, DVDs, etc, on eBay.

You can go to Ross or TJ Maxx and buy stuff there, it doesn't need to be electronics. Items there are inexpensive. You can buy them candy or something or some kitchen stuff or a candle. They also sell some DVDs there. Plus if you know any adults in your family that has video games like Xbox 360 or Wii or PS3, try looking for game accessories they are selling there for it. They are also inexpensive.

Ugh, Christmas.

I have made them food before when I haven't had any extra money. Maybe crafts or woodwork if you do anything like that. You can often find what you need for free when they remodel or tear down something.

Like the person before me said...crafts!
Or even better yet, paint or draw them something.
Make them something.
Use what skills you have to make them something useful.
Maybe even ask them what bothers them in their life (the adults, the kids can just get candy or a little toy)
