About this particular graphic - it's kind of fun to think about. Obviously there are the things you have to spend money on specifically for that kid like clothes and food, but there's some of that stuff you're paying already like housing (assuming you have space in your home already for a kid).
Then there are cost cutting measures like the "no presents policy" and booby food.
If I had a booby food dispenser, I could like the high life for cheap.
You could also make the child work in a coal mine to pay for it's vaccinations.
