Trying every night to see a UFO, but in case I don't, just in case I won't
I've got my fantasy to lean on.

Vulcan eyebrows, vulcan ears, that's what I dream of, no more sorrow
no more tears, can't you get me beamed up?
Vulcan logic, vulcan needs, quite bizarre but still a dream
as I'm waiting for that beam.

BS is all we talk on this planet we call earth
since I'm tired of that I'll take a further step
I think I'll find my way in space.

In a tiny spaceship, with four legs and a pillow and some sheets, that's where my
idols always mee, I'd like to be there now.

A UFO is just something in the sky that you cannot readily identify as a known object.

The vast majority of UFO sighting are (believe it or not) the planet Venus, and airplanes.

It's a sad but true fact that people in big cities rarely look up. When they do, they are apt to mis-identify what they see.

However there are a small number of sighting for which no one has an explanation for...

Hmm, not my favourite Millencolin song. Far too ska for me. I like Penguins and Polar Bears.

RE: UFO sightings as Venus - I can't even see the damn planet through my telescope. Lousy evening star.
However I once mistook an elliptical galaxy for a UFO.

That's a good song. It reminds me of "Superman" by Goldfinger. In fact, I think I'm going to go listen to that song right now.

Out West and away from all the light and air pollution, the night sky is so absolutely beautiful with a million stars. I once saw something strange that suddenly change directions and I have no idea what it was so yeah it was a UFO to me. I have never seen an alien, that I know of. But I wouldn't be surprised if they really existed.

i have seen them and i have known others who have seen them also. it doesn't count for much, because the fact remains that compared to them we are but ants.

i've seen some s**t (ball lighting, poltergeists in action), but sadly never a UFO of the alien sort...

I really wish that I lived in a rural area or, at least on the outskirts of a town as I have a telescope at my parents'. Sadly it's not been in use for many years, so it may need cleansing.

I recall my dad and I doing some stargazing from the terrace when I was younger... especially looking at the Moon, Mars and Jupiter was great...

A few years later I'd usually have the telescope aimed at the ISS, which could be seen fairly well unless its solar panels lit up too much.

but, sadly, no UFOs

you didn't really miss much. all i saw was something resembling an intelligently-controlled shiny mylar party balloon, at a rough elevation of between 500 and 1000 feet, flying at between 50 and 100 miles per hour over a local lake in a western direction a few hundred feet west of mccord AFB that was being chased briefly by 3 jet fighters dispatched out of the base- the chase lasted for only a few seconds before the shiny whatever it was shot straight upwards and disappeared. now it really would have been something if that craft had descended down to the lakefront beach i was standing on when i saw it, and creatures got out and invited me aboard and took me away with them. but needless to say, that did not happen.

I once saw one that moved across the horizon then disappeared in the western sky at sunset. But when I turned my head eastwardly again, it reappeared. I was excited until I realized it was just a smudge on my glasses. :?

I'd love to see a real UFO some day, but all I've ever seen are "Well, that's probably a satellite."

Though the other night I was watching, and there were quite an unusual amount of helicoptor looking lights in the sky. I kept watching, but they never did anything out of the ordinary.

there is an old painting by i can't remember who, that shows a man and a dog walking in a cityscape, looking up at a UFO in the sky above them.

just a thought, but try looking in the skies above an air force base which handles nukes.
