Yesterday I was in London and this taxi driver not only made me late for my meeting but also made a joke about my haircut. I was having a conversation with him and he just glance at my hair and made a rude comment about it. "Mate if your going to a meeting you should have combed your hair"



I just blew up and gave him a piece of mind and said "Listen here you moron i did not pay too hear your nonsense now hurrey up before i am late for my meeting". He just said nothing for the rest of the journey. I just flew into a rage. I mean who was this peasent to be dissing me he is not even fit to lick the boots of my new clarkson shoes.

My hair is perfect but who is this lower class fool make fun of my hair. what postion is he in to make jibes at me when he is just some good for nothing taxi driver.

No, anger only eats you up.

A better response would be to laugh and agree, think of it no more, and go on having a pleasant day.

I don't know about all that class stuff, I don't think of anyone being better than anyone else (except for Elton John, he's a supreme being and I worship him like a God). But I would of gave the bastard a piece of my mind. It was your right to stand up for yourself. It's good to get anger out instead of internalizing it and making yourself physically ill. Try not to dwell on it too much, I'm sure you have better things to do with your time.

The only thing that got hurt was your ego, and that only matters if you think it does.

If he was beating up my kids or something, that'd be a different matter.

If he made a joke about your hair, make a joke back.

Lets just say, somebody made a joke about being a spastic --- I would just say "a spastic sure is smarter than an average man".
Er... ok maybe that was maybe a little lame, but you'll get the idea.

I know but come on if it were up to me i would make the taxi driver clean out my office restrooms.

Since he seems to know all about hair styles, maybe you could ask if he has any advice for your bladder control problem.

If you regularily drive or ide around London, you would know that taxi drivers are evil and selfish, they think the roads belong to them, if I thought Global waming where true, I would suggest they are all banned as half the cars in London are cabs, and they pollute the air with thier filthy black disel smoke.

So him saying that was him probably thinking he was being nice and friendly to you, he was probably a bit suprised and hurt when you bit back.

the guy made me late for my meeting cause he just did not know where he was going.

I once had a taxi driver pretend he didn't know where he was going. So he lost his tip.
