I feel have been sheltered and babied my whole life, I have enough money to move out. I think I am just going to move out and get experience and actually learn.

Have you figured out your moving and living expenses and have you calculated how long your present money will last and how much more will be needed on a regular basis in order to sustain your new life outside your present home?

Be frugal and don't do anything risky until you're well settled-in!

I moved out twice for short periods before I had things together enough to make it to make the final break.

When I moved from home, I did it by sharing a house with a friend. This was a nice buffer between living with parents who handled all the bill paying etc and when I eventually moved to an apartment on my own where I was responsible for everything.

Good luck.
