How obsessive do you have to be to be considered an Aspie?

I'm confused.

I used to be obsessive about Pokemon - VERY.
I liked to sleep on floors and rugs because I felt I could feel the tiny fibres and I used to look for them.
I used to not share the hotwheel sets in playschool I tended to be very possessive...
I used to carry lots of books around with me including comics....and still do
I used to do things that were OCD related eg daying the same sounds in my head...things like that...and still do...
I used to be interested in politics from a very young age...and still am...

I also have friends but I don't like them they do not like talking about things that interest me i.e gravity and time travel, evolution, religion and politics.

I also have trouble defining friendships - I feel lonely even though I have friends...

I also am bored all the time and found that reading articles on WIKIPEDIA helped sooth my pain. etc...etc...

And should I hate myself for being a POTENTIAL ASPIE?

They're certainly symptomatic of Asperger's, though you would need to visit a mental health professional to see if you actually do have it.

I was told outright by my therapist that I have symptoms of Asperger's, but I know that I am neurotypical. Even if I was given a proper diagnosis, it seems arbitrary. What's the difference between someone with very mild Asperger's and simply an introverted person with intense interests like myself?
