My answers to this question are below, I'd be interested to hear yours.
1. Social Skills and Making Friends -
Because I mentor others on the spectrum, I study ways they interact...for some reason I like to know what kinds of things people here have difficulties with.
Even though my social skills are pretty good, I often forget what I had trouble with in the past, as well as things others continue to struggle with.
2. General Autism Discussion -
Because I need more from my autism studies than just theory, and examples from myself and the few people I work with. I like the insight I get from it about a variety of subjects
3. Love and Dating -
See reason #1 - I also study the reasons why people on the spectrum become rejected aas romantic partners - and what leads them to good relationships.
3. The Haven -
I feel anxious and/or sad and/or angry the majority of the time that I'm in waking conciousness, and just knowing someone else shares the same feelings gives me ease.
5. Media represenations
I am a strong advocate for postive and realistic images of autism and AS in the media and this directs me to the media's latest portrayals without having to google them all the time.

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.
This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.
My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
