Almost everyone I know gets money from the government.
So here are some facts and I wonder if I can get anything.

Dad never finished high school.
Mom left when I was younger.
I have something wrong with me but I never went to the doctor.
Left handed.
Dad has four kids.

Anything?
I haven't moved out yet but I think I should if the gov can help me.

If you are disabled by whatever cause, and cannot work, then you can see a social worker (through the County or whatever agency handles disability and assistance in your area)and find out what to do next.

However, I'd strongly suggest thinking about this carefully before doing anything. If you ARE able to pull your own weight, you will feel MUCH better about yourself if you live by your own works, and not by assistance. But again, if you're not able, then that's what public (financial) help is all about. From the things you listed, you were dealt several disadvantages, but unless you have a mental or physical reason why you can't learn a skill, or apply that skill to a job, those things could be used as strengths rather than weaknesses. After all, if you've survived hardships like that, it should make you feel strong and confident. Those who grew up in "perfect" households, may likely have a tougher time in the business world, than someone who has had to sustain tough situations as a child and teen.

Well the thing is I am very sensitive, and I took it on myself instead of everything else. I survived but I am pretty weak.

This is quite common for lots of people around my area & lots of em were on gov assistance when they were kids because of their parents problems & income but 1ce they became adults; the money was cut off. They can get food stamps thou if the household income is low enough.
If you have medical or mental conditions; you might could get on disability but anything else would probably depend on the area where you live.

All I have ever received was 40 bucks a month in food stamps for 6 months. I have paid income taxes for decades, though. One lady in the welfare office told me to 'get pregnant like the other girls' but that didn't happen. Other than that, I haven't qualified for any sort of government help - even with a full blown diagnosis of AS and ADHD and a propensity to freak out uncontrollably occassionally.

So, if you do get government help, just remember that it is taken from the paychecks of working people like me that has the same issues you do, not grown on some government tree and 'free' somewhere.

thanks! Oh, and kx250rider is right.
