I bet they are stupid to us because we are on different wave-links than them. Lots of em probably think Aspie adults are stupid to.

My mum won the Stupid Award, late last June when one of my heros died.

No offense but the moment you, started typing up this thread, It shows your not much smarter then the NT's your complaining about.

That is really quite a gross assumption. Are you implying that one cannot function in a normal manner and still be intelligent?

When I think of people in general: They're not. They do well in fitting in and adapting to the prevalent 'schema.' They use their intelligence to further the needs of 'family' and more broadly the larger 'network.' The greater educated (more intelligent) see it for what it's worth though, a shifting paradigm.

I think of it as layers of cognitive ability, and using a standardized WAIS or Standford Bi-net I.Q. test as a 'metric,' indicates half the population score with below the mean, as opposed the other half above the 100 mean benchmark in a bell shaped curve.

Aside from the imperfect reliability in these scores, that is significant: 3.4 billion on the declining slope; 3.4 billion going the other way up.

It's not that hard to understand that everyone has different abilities whether physical or mental. Not everyone thinks as much or has equal mental dexterity; everyone has a different hardwired ceiling here.

Some are bright, some are less able.

I think you're stupid for thinking you know people you have never met, and I think it's pretty damn annoying to see my friends and family insulted by someone who doesn't know the first thing about them.
