Eccles to be precise. It has been a nightmare moving from one city to another - all the formalities, items and unexpected costs. Also it has been stressful dealing with the 'wall of new faces' in my new job (same company). I'm still excited about building up the time and money to explore this new city(s) and being nearer to family is a + point too.

All i need now is to pluck up the confidence to go and push for a decent job and not get too comfortable like before and thus stuck in a rut.

Any aspies on here from this part of the UK?

I don't live in Manchester but my sister does. Her husband is a minister at Calvary Chapel who decided to work in England. However, they may have to move back to the US in a few months because of problems within the church there.

By the way, I love your avatar. Doctor Who rules! :D

I wish I still lived there... (well, not quite, I wouldn't trade in my steady job to move back)
You've got Cheshire within each reach.
Probably best to avoid Longsight (and all points east / south east of there), Moss Side (and points west / south west) and Salford for a while, and be generally wary of strangers.
And, er, don't innocently walk along the canals in the town centre at night like yours truly, or people will think you're cruising...
