Um...I kind of am. I eat fish, so I don't call myself a vegetarian, but others do. I just don't talk about it cause someone always wants to comment on whether that makes me a vegetarian or not, and I try to avoid the argument.
I've always liked the idea of being a vegetarian because I'm an animal nut, and when I found out my friend had stopped eating meat I casually decided to try it with her. I started experimenting with my meats...stopped eating something for a while and tried it again, and I would notice a reaction. So I figured it couldn't be great for me to be eating them, plus I was doing fine without it anyway. After a night at the ER puking over and over after eating a hamburger, I haven't eaten any meat since Like I said, I do occasionally eat a bit of fish...I don't care for it much, but I haven't cut it out yet. I have some health conditions, vitamin deficiencies, mostly gluten free, etc and I'm just cutting things out slowly.
I'm not vegan, but I won't eat things with gelatin. It's gross to me.
