Without doubt my double complete rainbow is Muggs T. Dog (the little guy in my avatar).

He truly is my best friend. He's smart, patient and well behaved.

Here I am, wasting my snow-day (being lazy and slightly hungover in bed). I should have gotten up and walked Muggs hours ago, but I just can't face the cold...

Muggsy waits patiently, snuggled in the crook of my left arm, chewing on the corner of his blanket.

He really is an amazing little being. I wrote a paper on him for sociology class concerning animal's capacity for learning/participating in culture. Muggs does not beg at dinner time. He gets his own food and joins you for the meal...

He's getting old now, at 10. It seems so unfair that he's allotted such little time while so many people get decades to waste...

Anyway, my life is much richer and happier for having known him. He's my full-on double complete rainbow!

My double rainbow is my mom. She is an amazingly kind, gentle and patient person, almost to a fault. She also has a great sense of humor. She is also one of the hardest workers at her job and all of the other employees love her.

My mom came from an abusive household, arguably mistreated the worst, yet she has turned out much better than any of her siblings due to her strong desire to break the cycle of abuse and being loved by my dad.

My mom and I have always been very close to one another. We are each others' best friends and biggest fans. Even strangers who meet us for the first time can tell how close we are and how much we love each other. I fear that when she dies, I will be so grief-stricken that I will lose all my sanity (or what's left of it anyway).

My Double Rainbow is, are you ready for this? The 1960s. There are some parts of that decade that I like better than other parts, but all in all the 60s were a great decade for music and fashion.
