NTs in an aspie world?

Well, the idea is that instead of the vast majority being NT, they're aspies.

There are a select few that are NT.

Of course, the vast majority are aspies so the world is set up to accomdate those with Asperger's.

The minority, this of course has caused various organizations to spring up, CANT, FANT and DANT. There are various views on the issue.

They would probably find each other, group together and set out to destroy us. I don't think that scenario could last...

I don't think aspies would treat nt's as badly as they treat us.

Who cares how they would treat us? If we're a much greater majority, we can just kick their asses if they start up something stupid.

I think it would be fun as long as they don't take over the show, they have a tendancy to do that. Must be an ego thing.

Actually, I have a feeling a minority of NT's in an Aspie world wouldn't cope. I think they would be neglected rather than picked on and bullied like we are. We would just get on with our lives calmly and quietly and they just wouldn't understand the systems we set up (or lack there of). Some would fall through the cracks, others would kick up a stink only to be brushed off with an explanation they don't understand. Personally, I like the idea of starting an Aspergia but it would be hard to establish in today's world.

Okay, well basically ther's aspes in an NT world right now, yeh?

Donkey, in regards to your "what idea, wtf are you talking about crazy person" post: I thought the
concept of an NT in an aspie world would make a good short story.

I love alternate-reality stories. My favorite part about your scenario is imagining the difficulties NTs would have trying to "fit in" to our culture (WOULD we try to manipulate them to conform in a world where commonality entitles us to believe that WE'RE right and the rest of the world is wrong?).

I don't think we'd have to worry about an NT uprising, though. My experiences with NTs suggest they'd be more likely to isolate themselves in the "Republic of Neurological Typicality" with a strong military presence. Or maybe just form support groups where they can empathize about how difficult life is when you're different.

A society with a majority of Aspies would require a system where NTs could behave according to their nature and still lead comfortable lives without disrupting mainstream society. But does that even happen here where they ARE the majority? Anyway, there would basically need to be two ways to interact with the social system, or two interfaces if you will. One obvious and natural for NT's and one obvious and natural for Aspies.
The question is, would we allow NTs to become essential to the social system or just let them think they are? How would we do this without being "unethical" or compromising the society? Maybe if the end result of the social system was that there appeared to be no difference between them and us. In that situation I would put up with them calling me a nerd because their discrimination would almost have no real effect on our lifestyles.

This thread is purely in fun. Yes, there's a lot of questions about it but this thread is for acting it out once all those have been answered, like I said, created for roleplay lovers by me. How about some people answering the existant questions?
