I used to have a bike I rode often. I don't know what happened to it. I may still have it stored away somewhere.

I had a bike when I was little but I haven't ridden sense before I was a teen. I live in a rural area on a major highway with no sidewalks or anything

i've long been a fan of recumbent bikes, and when i used to have more duckies in the bank i owned a bikee fx, a recumbent mountain bike[!], for those with thighs as muscular as arnold schwarzenegger's thighs. a dumb idea but surely a novelty. i now ride a giant suede gx semi-semi-recumbent "crank forward" bike that fits me like a glove, and still allows me to stand on the pedals when i need to [which is on just about any climbing grade]. it gives me an extremely upright riding position with my legs forward of my torso, which is easier on my back than a regular upright bike that forces you to lean forward. it has a basic 5-speed internal hub transmission that is geared mostly for top speed [25 mph+] but it allows me to climb moderate grades as well. it has a springy broad seat, seatpost shock absorber, fat tires and rudimentary front suspension which filters out the worst of the crappy roads in my neighborhood. i ended up having to get a "urban police package" flatproof rear tire, as there is just so much sharp junk [jagged bits of glass, screws, roofing nails et al] scattered all over the roads here, and i'd gotten 3 flats before i got the upgrade.

YES..
I just built a motobecane pro ds,last summer. It has a 3/4/5" travel lockout suspension, all shimano xt, hyd. disc brakes mavic /kenda wheel tire set.

I also have an E-bike, 36volt 750w rear drive gearless," its almost silent" Its a cheap steel bike with dual susp also. It has a 20Ah lifepo4 battery which gives me a 40mile range at 20mph...without any pedaling.

I'm currently working on a recumbent with a new pedaling configuration that doesnt do a circle pattern,
and probablly gonna make another motobecane road bike
..........and hence my avatar

Very Nice Bike Esther ! !
