Name that tune!! I'm playing it on the piano now...

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm stuck in finding what this song is and I can't give anyone much to go on.

It's a really catchy tune, by an all-girl group, maybe this song is a couple of years old too, it may even have featured in TV commercials.

So I kind of sang it to a friend (obviously I can't do that here) and he was convinced it's by Girls Aloud. So I checked my Now albums and even downloaded their 'Greatest Hits'... still no joy. Maybe it's The SugarBabes?

All I know is in the chorus they sing something like "make you love me" and I think "make it happen" is in there some place and after that they sing something else that is repeated four times, that's as much as I know so if anyone has any ideas, do say!

Someone suggested recording me singing it I had a better idea. I downloaded software, electronic piano, played it and recorded it, if someone goes to this link...

Have you got a microphone? Make a clip of you singing or humming it and upload it. Or make a little video if you've a phone or webcam or something.

could it be The Corrs "what can I do"? It's an old song but I remember it having similar lyrics

Making a soundclip is a great idea, I would not have thought of that. Though I don't know how I could upload it here. When I woke up today I was hoping some-one might have known what it was and posted a link to the video! Seriously, it's not The Corrs "What Can I Do" - this is an upbeat, really catchy song that if only I could remember more words in the chorus, I'm sure someone out there would know it.

It's okay we found it now, I was beginning to wonder if this song really existed, anyway it is called "The Promise" by Girls Aloud.
