Mine today.
I was walking in a family dollar and the door looked like a push so I pushed it then I was like wtf. So I kept pushing it then I looked at the sign and it said open and I was like wtf. Then I pulled it and I felt really stupid.

I went to get myself a cup of tea at the reception at my best friend's mum's funeral and I went to get myself a cup of tea. I took a coffee mug without knowing that there were tea cups. I've noticed the tea cups to the right with the saucers. I felt really stupid, because there was a lot less tea than there was coffee and I took more than my share. When I went to get some more tea, I took a tea cup and a saucer.

I've done that on my bike. On the plus side, he stopped and helped me up.

There was one moment in particular that has actually really got me... I was at swimming and I was mucking about and carrying my girlfriend... You wouldn't want to imagine what happened next.

I was on a coffee break after my shift at my job before Christmas. I was drinking coffee and my supervisor said something funny. I was laughing and drinking and coffee came out of my nose.

Not sure if this counts because things like this happen all the time, but the other day having made one of those microwaved breakfasts, you know the kind, they look real tasty but are no good for you, anyway instead of pouring the tomato ketchup, I grabbed the washing-up liquid (it is red and in a see-through bottle) and poured it all over the sausage and hash browns, needless to say I threw the lot away.

Sometimes I don't take my sunglasses off right away when I go inside. So there I was, sitting in a restaurant wearing my shades and they fell right into my soup with a splash. Not 8)

Tee hee, I did this earlier tonight at work :) my supervisor ribbed me about it for awhile, and a good chuckle was had by all. Including me, though not again while I was drinking coffee.

Hmm.. most recently, I was out bicycling and was running with my bike to get on the train, and I ran face-on into a lamp post.

I do that a lot but I'm dyslexic & get names confused very easily
I think this is one of my more embracing moments. This doesn't happen much but it's very embarrassing

I was taking a computer programming course in the fall and with it an accompanying lab section. Often times we would get paired for the lab assignments (which I hated).

The one week I was working with this guy in a paired-programming project and we were discussing how we were going to go about solving the problems presented. I was right in the middle of explaining a solution I thought would work quite well when suddenly, to my horror, my tongue ring came unscrewed. I had to stop what I was saying mid-sentence and stick my tongue out to screw it back together. To make matters worse the sensation caused by the rod sliding out of your tongue (especially when you're not expecting it) is really strange and when it happened I kind of gasped out of surprise.

The guy I was working with didn't even know how to respond and it made an already awkward situation that much more so. I was so embarassed that a little while afterwards I made up an excuse and left early.

This didn't embarrass me but I was involved. Once in New York I was in line at Whole Foods and I was sort of leaning onto my basket with my foot up on the bar, bent forward and sort of resting on my elbows. The guy behind me wasn't really paying attention and did that thing people absentmindedly do and stepped forward. I suppose I had made some subtle forward move that had triggered it in him, but I hadn't really moved forward and he ran right into my butt with his front. I think he almost died of embarrassment.

It still makes me laugh.
