No, but then again, I don't socialize beyond my intellectual abilities, talents, interests, and comfort level. Maybe the outgoing, shallow regional sales manager with the mainstream interests that goes to sports bars with their eighteen friends, might think I'm full of fail. Gaming nerds, musicians, and/or people who enjoy long discussions, would more likely think I'm full of 'epic win'.
As for the phrase being out-of-date, it's not. The people who coined and still use it are just older. "Groovy" and "Forsooth" are out-of-date. However, I still say them.
Insulate yourselves with the people who make you happy. And if you hate people, then insulate yourself with the things that make you happy instead.
