I've not heard that for a few years - or the rest of the Ring Cycle.
The Solti/VPO recording of it is superb, and it was a bit of an obsession with me for a while.
I couldn't find a YouTube recording of the incomparable Birgit Nilsson as Brunnhilde in the scene I was really looking for (where she's woken by Siegfried - "Heil dir, Sonne! Heil dir, Licht!", from Siegfried), so here's the Immolation scene from the other end of Gotterdammerung.
Really, there is only one Brunnhilde and here she's at her soaring best.
