Bob Dylan is the staple of all guitar lesson books. You haven't studied guitar properly until you can strum Bob Dylan.

I like some of his songs particularly "Blowin' in the Wind" and it's socio-political messages.

I find it utterly bizarre and peculiar to think that all the role models I looked up to, Charles Darwin and co., are now being posthumourously/diagnosed with AS.

In my early school days, I was the "idiot" and they were all the "geniuses" everyone had to aspire to be.

What's going on?!

Have social norms really changed that much?

I think that if some of them could come back from the dead they would be very offended at being called "disordered".

I know I'd be offended!

I guess if you can make a lot of money and influence culture, I guess being called "disordered" is just a side note.

I like his early acoustic albums (Freewheelin', another side of etc.) and a few of his rock albums (Highway 61, Bringin' It All Back Home, Blood On The Tracks, Blonde On Blonde)

I also like Good As I Been To You, it was the first Dylan album I owned and it introduced me to some really great traditional songs (I'm a folk music enthusiast)

I really dislike some of his later records because he lost the plot a bit. Bob is a genius, but no matter how good you are, if you've recorded as many albums and songs as he has, a few of them are going to be awful, or at least mediocre.

Can't stand him due to someone playing the same song over and over and over again in the workplace over speakers.

This.

I'm a big fan of his earlier material, and particularly the work from the albums listed by TigerBlood, but there are few things after, say, Desire that I can stand listening to.

I absolutely love The Times They Are a' Changin'. It was perfect for the phenomenal opening credits of the Watchmen movie.

That said, I do not like any of his other songs. I just can't stand his voice. Sorry :?.

His early stuff that he recorded in the 60s is good.
