Did you ever recognize someone on other boards?

Not when this person wrote on WP (or other boards; it doesn't need to be someone from WP; just a person whose posts you know from a different forum) that they post also on some other board(s) but when you saw on two or more different boards that someone's style of writing or life story is similar and guessed it must be that very person. Did it ever happen to you? I'm just reading posts of one woman who at one point posted a few posts on the Polish AS board - I recognized her on a cat board I'm a lurker on - some facts she gave, are identical. It also happened to me two years ago that one very distant cousin recognized me on a board because I posted some facts from the life of our ancestor. Those people's nicknames on the boards don't need to be the same, actually it would be better if you didn't recognize someone's identity on the basis of the nick (I saw on FF.net that two people from WP had the same nicks as here on there too and that's how I guessed they are from here).

If I recognized someone from one of my earlier forums I'd be freaked out...not sure I want to see any of those people again...

No, I am not sure if I'd recognize myself.

People have recognized me on other autism and mental health boards. So far, nobody's recognized me on isitnormal.com though.

No but one member here recognized me from Comedy Central's forums 8 years ago & another one here remembered me from 4th Kingdom a few years ago. Those two were kind of lurkers. They were surprised that I'm a much better person than the person I was then

I have actually come across another WP member on a Second Life forum.

I've been spotted a few times under a different name on another forum and yes, I've recognised a few people from different forums.
